Meet Michelle: Your Companion Back to Self
Hi there! I'm Michelle, and I'm on a mission to empower individuals to find self-connection and body liberation through intuitive movement, embodiment practices, and community support.
My Journey:
My personal wellness journey has been a long, bumpy road filled with twists and turns. Growing up, I felt the pressure to fit into a wellness culture that didn't embrace or even make space for me. For over 20 years, I found myself caught in the grips of diet culture, constantly striving to change myself to meet external standards. I had been on diets in exercise programs from a very young age and even eventually has weight loss surgery. Somehow, I stumbled across the body positive movement and my life shifted in ways I never knew were possible. I’ve learned that true well-being isn't found in conforming to others' ideals, it’s about liberating ourselves from the ways we’re taught to conform and instead choose to exist in the way that feels most empowering to us.
My Approach:
Today, I'm dedicated to guiding others toward a freedom-based relationship with their bodies and selves. Through gentle movement, embodiment practices, and somatic healing, I help clients reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels authentic and empowering. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can reclaim their autonomy and rediscover the joy of being fully embodied.
Credential:
I hold both a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification through ACE Fitness as well as a Somatic Healing Certification. These qualifications, combined with my personal experiences and passion for holistic wellness and liberation, inform my approach to coaching and support.
